Make no mistake – the adventure we are embarking on is big and scary. It is a journey we can only complete through a series of ‘Only God’ moments. We cannot achieve this dream in our own strength; only in and through God will we be successful. In stepping out in faith, we are not so much extending our facilities as we are creating more space – space where people we do not know and have not met will encounter and, we pray, respond to the gospel. We are committing time, money and effort to make space for people we do not know and have not met – for those to come.
We have enough seats for you and me and our families. But we don’t yet have the seats for those whom God is calling into relationship with Him through us. It is for them God is calling us to stretch and build and step out in faith – for those still to come.
