New Service Times!!

At Newlife Uniting Church we love to celebrate. We revel in the fact we are one big family made up of people aged a few weeks old to 95 years. We are about to launch a fourth Sunday gathering to allow room for more families to join us in celebrating life and faith. It is an exciting time!

From February 21 our Sunday morning celebrations will be held at 7.30am, 9am and 10.45am.

Our amazing Kidzlife program for primary school kids is offered at all three services, as is a cre?che.

We kick off our new Sunday morning times with a great new series called The Prodigal God, which you can read more about on the other side of this flyer.
As always, we also have a 6pm celebration (called 12two) aimed at those aged 18-3-0ish.

If you’ve not been to church for a long time, or have never been – we’d love you to join us. You will find a relaxed atmosphere, contemporary music, engaging teaching…and a warm welcome!

Loving God? Genocide commanding? (24th Jan)

The last century has recorded some of the worst examples of genocide in world history. The Holocaust, Rwanda, Cambodia and Soviet Russia are infamous for the horrors perpetrated on large swathes of people. The idea that such horrors are religiously sanctioned is abhorrent to us. What then so we do with some Old Testament texts that appear to do just that.
