Vision
Our Vision points us forward to the mission God is calling us into. A church exists by mission as a fire exists by burning. It is core to the church’s identity. It is grounded in the Great Commission Jesus gave his disciples before he left them for heaven (Matthew 28)
A loving, Christ-centered community transforming the world with the gospel
Changing lives, transforming the world
Our Values describe both who we are and also who we hope to be in God’s strength. These eight values are fundamental to the culture of community we believe God is creating and re-creating in us.
Creative Worship
We will creatively worship God with all that we are and all that we do, passionately seeking to find expression for people’s spiritual gifts to honor God.
(Romans 12:1, 1 Corinthians 12)
Adventurous Faith
Acting out of the conviction that faith is an unfolding adventure that God call us into, we will allow risk and utter dependency upon God to mark our journey.
(Hebrews 11, 12)
Scriptural Discernment
Centering our lives on God’s written Word we will allow scripture and the Holy Spirit to guide and direct us as we encounter God’s living Word (Christ).
(Matthew 22:29, Luke 24: 32-45, Romans 15:4-5, 2 Timothy 3:14-16, John 1)
Fervent Prayer
We will always and in all ways pray, knowing that only at God’s direction, in God’s time and in God’s way can we be the people God has called us to be.
(2 Chronicles 7:14, Matthew 6:5-15, Ephesians 3:14-21)
Inviting Hospitality
Offering hospitality and welcoming all out of God’s reconciling love, we will always humbly and sacrificially open our lives to friends and strangers alike.
(Romans 12:12-14, 1 Peter 4:8-10, 3 John 1:7-8)
Authentic Transformation
Acting out of the conviction that the gospel of Jesus Christ can and does transform individuals, communities and nations, we will strive for Spirit-led transformation (personal, local and global) to be at the heart of all that we do.
(Romans 1:15-17, 2 Corinthians 3:18, 1 Corinthians 1:17-18)
Passionate Outreach
Convicted that Jesus commands us to proclaim the gospel in word and deed to a world
that is broken and hurting, we will live not to please ourselves, but to please God as we seek to reach the lost.
(Matthew 28:16-20), Luke 15
Empowering Leadership
Founded on servant-hearted and Godly leadership, we will make raising, training and equipping leaders a priority – not for just for our sake, but for the kingdom.
(Hebrews 13:7, Romans 12:8)
